Further reading

My very first oil painting was of a landscape made entirely from my imagination when I was still at school. After returning from India and Pakistan in 1975 I made more of an effort to work outside. Most of the landscapes I have made since are started and finished on the spot. Early influences were both Turner and Constable and I have since added many many more, notably Corot and the French 19th century School.
